A Journey Through Texas

I’m Charles 'Choco' Valdez, and my Texan roots run deep—from growing up in Corpus Christi and Chapman Ranch to my grandfather’s beloved ranch near George West. These experiences shaped my values of community and clear communication, which I bring into my work every day.

After graduating from Mary Carroll High School, I explored educational opportunities at Delmar College and Northwest Vista College, while living in unique communities like Odessa, Petronila and Austin.

Eventually, San Antonio became home, here, I met the love of my life, embraced the joy of becoming a step-parent, and together we have two wonderful kids.
